PSL 5 remaining matches moved from Lahore to Karachi due to smog

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchises have requested the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to move PSL 5 remaining matches moved from Lahore to Karachi.The intense air pollution in Lahore is expected to deepen next month. The dates of the matches remain unchanged.The PSL is due to resume on November 14 after the playoff phase was initially delayed by the covid-19 pandemic. Multan Sultans face Karachi Kings in the qualifier round and Lahore Qalandars take on Peshawar Zalmi in the first eliminator.

Waseem khan said:The decision to move matches from Lahore was not one that was taken lightly. For the sake of every franchises involved and to ensure the remainingmatches of the PSL 5 tournament and the three T20I against Zimbabwe were completed without risk or interruption, it was important to move the matches.

HBL PSL 5  remaining four matches sedhule:

Nov 14: Qualifier (Multan Sultans vs Karachi Kings), (3pm-6.30pm), Karachi

First Eliminator  (Lahore Qalandars vs Peshawar Zalmi), (8pm-11.30pm), Karachi

Nov 15: Second Eliminator  (loser Qualifier vs winner Eliminator 1), (8pm-11.30pm), Karachi

Nov 17: Final; (8pm-11.30pm), Karachi
