The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the schedule of the remaining four matches of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 matches, which were postponed on March 17 due to pandemic. Pakistan Super League becomes one of the latest Cricket events to be postponed due to the Covid-19. The decision comes before semi-final matches were due to start in Lahore.
The matches will be start in Lahore on November 14, 15 and 17 with only the qualifier and the first eliminator to be played on November 14. The Second Eliminator will be played on November 15, while the event will conclude on 17 November Thuesday.
All remaining matches of the event will be played under Covid-19 protocols. PCB clears that there is no audience will come in ground due to covid-19 pandemic. The four teams include table toppers Multan Sultans, Lahore Qalandars PSL Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings. The last match of PSL 5 before the pandemic was played between Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators.

The final of the tournament was rescheduled to be played on 17 November. The dates have been finalised following consultations and discussions with the four franchises – Multan Sultans, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, and Peshawar Zalmi – while starting times will be finalised later. The matches are planned to be held behind closed doors though the situation will be closely monitored and will be reviewed in October. The plans are in place for the sixth PSL to be staged in February and March 2021 while international series against Zimbabwe and South Africa are also in the pipeline.
PCB chief-executive said: The hosting of the remaining four HBL Pakistan Super League 2020 matches also endorses Pakistan’s resilience in overcoming difficulties and challenges no matter what the nature.

Saturday, Nov 14-2020 – Qualifier (Multan Sultans v Karachi Kings); Gaddafi Stadium
Eliminator 1 (Lahore Qalandars v Peshawar Zalmi); Gaddafi Stadium
Sunday, Nov 15-2020 – Eliminator 2 ((loser Qualifier v winner Eliminator 1); Gaddafi Stadium
Tuesday, Nov 17-2020 – Final; Gaddafi Stadium
