Pakistani Fast Bowler Umer Gul Announces Retirement from all Formats of Cricket

In a statement late night on Friday, he said that he had made the decision with a “heavy heart and after a lot of thinking”.

“I have always played for Pakistan with all my heart and 100 per cent hard work. Cricket is and will always be my love and passion. But all good things have to come to an end.”At 17 Oct Mid night he announces in a tweet that he decided to Bid Farewell from all formats of cricket.

It’s a sad moment for Pakistani cricket team that it’s Right arm Fast Medium Bowler announces it’s retirement.Its the complitition of his 20 Years of Journey. Umer Gul announces that he is taking retirement from all formats of cricket including Test matches, ODI’s and T20’s. His 20 years career depends on a large amount of memories. He is the most wickets taker in WT20 2007, 2009. He is also awarded with an owner of most wicket taker by a pacer in CWC 2011. He take 32 wickets in WT20 2012 in South Africa.

The 36-years old Umer Gul burst into the circuit in the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2002 in New Zealand by claiming 11 wickets at 12.72 following a poor debut 2001 season.

The Fantastic Pakistani Player played 125 first class , 213 list A matches and 167 T20 matches in which he take 987 wickets. In international matches career he take 427 wickets from 2003-2016.

Umer Gul Played Professional Cricket in England, Sri-Lanka, Australia, New Zeland and India.He also play domestic cricket which includes HBL PSL and PIA Matches.
